Sharp pain in head, on left side of head, every 5 minutes, starts by bottom of head to top. Taking tablets prescribed by doctor,after 3 days head itching, spots on head and around neck. Could I be allergic to tablets? could I have shingles? my eyes are ok.
Depends what tablets are… have you read the leaflet? Talk to your local chemist.
I believe shingles forms a band or line – is your pain in a line from one area to another?
My son had a small shingles attack when he was 4 (18 yrs ago now) and he had scabby spots across part of his head and pain like you describe…. I’d speak to NHS direct if I were you….
