Arthur’s Seat Sunrise Walk

This event has now been completed sucessfully. Our JustGiving page is still open for donations. Information about the walk remains below and here is a link to an inspirational article about one of our walkers who had a harder time than most in completing this walk.

Pain Concern has organised a walk round Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh on the 23rd of June to raise funds for the innovative Airing Pain programmmes and it’s sister publications.

A quote from our Patron Anne Begg MP

“Many people who have chronic pain suffer in silence.  Pain is not something others can see and so it can be difficult for people to share experiences and provide mutual support.  That is why the Airing Pain project is so important as those with chronic pain can tune in to be part of a large network of others who understand their situation.  But it all takes money so please take part in the Arthur’s Seat Sunrise Walk, and persuade your friends and family to join in too.  And if they can’t take part, they can always donate to support others efforts.  It couldn’t be simpler.”
